Taking Care of Your Vocal Health

Given that allergy season is starting up, I found these TWO tips to be a perfect way to keep you performing at optimal level and help ease any of the symptoms associated with this time of year!

Number One:  Eucalyptus Essential Oil

A major headache when it comes to vocal health this time of year is MUCUS ON THE VOCAL CORDS and in the chest!

Eucalyptus is a natural EXPECTORANT.

Which is Latin for ‘expelling from the chest’.

Your body has a natural process to help move this mucus build up along and get it OUT OF YOUR BODY.

Eucalyptus essential oil assists your body in doing this without all the nasty side effects that sometimes come along with prescription or over the counter medications!

It is also going to help open your bronchial passages to get more air in and therefore, AIR OUT to help you hit those beautiful notes!!

Application: 2-3 drops of Eucalyptus Essential Oil on the chest and throat a couple times throughout the day! They also make these great Eucalyptus inhalers that help open your air ways too. You can purchase them on Amazon here.

Number Two: Fiber Rich Fruits

Studies have shown that eating high-fiber fruits REDUCE levels of mucus and INCREASE overall respiratory health!

So load up on your apples, oranges and berries to help your body get rid of the crud!! (Gayla Apples are my favorite!)

Give these TWO TIPS a shot as we head into allergy season to keep you singing and getting warmed up for our LIFE-CHANGING ARTIST DEVELOPMENT VOCAL CAMP in June!!

See you guys there!! Give us a call at 972-489-1667 to reserve your spot. Space is limited. Ages 8 to 16 only.
